Tasting Notes
Wine Advocate 89
The nose is a little rustic here, with dried earth, bergamot, cranberry aromas wrapped up in a little VA. Good definition though. The palate is very harmonious with ginger-tinged black fruits, good concentration on the second half, nice weight and precision. Walnut, smoke and fresh ginger on the elegant, understated finish. Very fine but just lacking some harmony and focus. Drink now-2025. Tasted May 2009.

Bright red/crimson. Light and fragrant. A bit dead in the middle. Sinewy edge. Definitely edgy. One could imagine the spirit?? Lifted but simple, chewy end.
