Vinous 87-90
Very good dark red-ruby color. Currant, black cherry, tobacco and smoke on the nose, plus a light floral component. Juicy and shapely in the mouth; a firm midweight with sound acidity and structure for the vintage. Finishes with fine, dusty tannins.

A very fine seductive nose of black fruits. Very firm tannins this is still needs another year to mellow the coarseness. Black tarry fruits on the finish – good value. Tasted January 2000.
