Tasting Notes
Antonio Galloni 88
The 2018 Monbrison is rather rustic. Game, licorice, smoke, coffee, and leather give Monbrison a decidedly hearty, four square personality. The 2018 offers good depth but also comes across as a bit rough around the edges.
Neal Martin 86
The 2018 Monbrison has a light minty bouquet that is just missing a bit of presence. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, but there is something missing from the midpalate. Balanced but just needs more substance and grip.
Anticipated maturity: 2022-2030

Tasted blind. Pale rim. Nose a bit volatile. But some smooth, suave Margaux-fruit on the palate. Not subtle but it may improve in bottle.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2040
