The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino is understated in the glass, showing only hints of musky blackberry and dusty dried flowers. This is a round and pure effort, with pretty red and black fruits offset by violet-tinged inner florals. It leaves a sweet and sour interplay of ripe berries and hints of citrus while tapering off lightly structured.
