Tasting Notes
Neal Martin 92
The 2019 La Louviere has a perfumed bouquet with redcurrant, raspberry and light earthy scents. The oak here is neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite sappy and cohesive with a lingering, lightly peppered finish. Delicious. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting.
Anticipated maturity: 2025-2040

55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot. Aged 12 months in barrel and amphorae (10%).Garnet hue. Just beginning to open to cherry and dark-fruit notes. Juicy and smooth on the palate with innate freshness. Fine tannic frame. Already shows a certain charm. (JL)
Anticipated maturity: 2025-2035
