The 2019 Tour Saint-Fort is a delicate, floral Saint-Estephe that will drink well right out of the gate. Crushed flowers, iron, cedar, tobacco, incense, dried herbs, licorice give the 2019 its beguiling aromatics. The tannins are a bit edgy. If they can be softened, Tour Saint-Fort might have good potential in future years. As things stand now, those searing tannins are pretty dominant. [Antonio Galloni, 23/02/2022]

The 2019 Tour Saint-Fort has a mulberry and blackcurrant pastille scented bouquet, bright and playful though not complex. The palate is medium-bodied with an appealing grainy texture and fine-boned tannins. It feels off-dry towards the finish, not a heavy-weight Saint-Estephe but complex and certainly refined.
