The 2020 Petit Faurie de Soutard is not terribly complex, but it has come together well. Dark fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice and espresso all meld together. This sumptuous, racy Saint-Emilion is very easy to like. [Antonio Galloni, 23/02/2023]

The 2020 Petit Faurie de Soutard has a nicely composed bouquet with blackberry, raspberry coulis, tobacco and truffle scents, gaining intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, tobacco and graphite infusing the mainly black fruit with a clean and precise finish. This is showing very nicely. [Neal Martin, 08/02/2023]

Full bottle 1,240 g. Undated cask sample. Lustrous mid crimson. Rich, almost opulent nose followed by sweet palate entry and some marked acidity which is not yet married to sweetness. The building blocks are there but it’s still embyronic. [16/04/2021]
