Tasting Notes
Antonio Galloni 90
The 2021 La Louviere is a very good wine for the year. Crushed herbs, flowers, mint, gravel and tobacco give the 2021 lovely savory complexity. Medium in body and persistent, it impresses with its fine balance and overall personality. It s a bit slender, but the energy here is very good.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2031
Neal Martin 90
The 2021 La Louviere just lacks a bit of presence on the nose, though it is well defined with attractive sous-bois-tinged black fruit, tobacco and pencil box. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and fine acidity, quite tensile even if it lacks amplitude toward the finish. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
Anticipated maturity: 2028-2045

Tasted blind. Fresh and direct. Pure and simple. Dry finish. But clean and direct. (JR)
