Tasting Notes
Antonio Galloni 86
The 2021 Leroy-Beauval is powerful and driving, but also marked by hard contours and drying tannins. It’s a hard wine to taste today.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2029
Neal Martin 89
The 2021 Leroy-Beauval, from the estate next to Reignac, has a well-defined nose with blackberry, boysenberry and light violet aromas. The oak is neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with a firm backbone, powdery in texture with a touch of graphite enhancing the complexity on the finish. It s well worth seeking out. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2035
