The 2021 Taillefer has a well-defined bouquet, lacking some vigor, but there s attractive, truffle-tinged black fruit that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly hard tannins and misses some substance on the mid-palate, but there is at least freshness and sapidity on the finish.
