The 2021 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a bravura nose with copious citrus fruit, wet stone and orange zest-very intense considering the vintage, becoming more peachy with aeration. The palate is well-balanced with a well-defined entry, very intense and tensile with an almost burly, yet paradoxically elegant finish. Excellent.
