Tasting Notes
Antonio Galloni 87
The 2021 Lynsolence is a dark, potent Saint-Emilion. It offers up copious blue fruit, blackberry jam, chocolate, spice, new leather, licorice and mocha. This sumptuous, racy wine has plenty to offer in a decidedly forward, lush style. Give the tannins some time to soften.
Anticipated maturity: 2025-2036
Neal Martin 87
The 2021 Lynsolence still lacks some delineation and focus on the nose, although it does fortunately cohere in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a slight chewiness on the entry, but it is fresher than the barrel sample at primeur, and there is a touch more bite on the lactic, dark chocolate-tinged finish hence my higher score.
Anticipated maturity: 2025-2032
