Tasting Notes
Vinous 91
Checking in at 14.83% alcohol, the 2021 Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a refined and predominately red-fruited beauty. Licorice and herbaceous components add more dimension. Framed by gentle tannins and more medium- than full-bodied, the 2021 ends with a bright finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2025-2036

Tasted blind. Quite dominant oak on the nose – pepper and spice with raspberry notes. Whilst the oak is prominent on the palate there is lovely strawberry fruit and concentration to support it. Good, fresh acidity. Closed and introverted, but plenty to look out for here in the future. (AC)
