The 2022 Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Aux Chaumes has an open and quite earthy bouquet with ample brambly red berry fruit tinged with brown spices. The palate is medium-bodied with a ferrous entry, grainy tannins and quite peppery with a slightly savoury finish. Ready to drink now but it will continue to give drinking pleasure for three or four years.
