    Started doing tressage (weaving the shoots into the canopy rather than hedging) in this vintage and seeing the benefits already in smaller berries and greater concentration. Cask sample. Intense aroma of spicy/toasty oak, but the oak is well judged to let the fruit enjoy the limelight. Pure, concentrated, long and mouth-watering. (JH) [15/01/2024]
