The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuesselottes 1er Cru, which includes 50% whole bunches, has a more backward bouquet with dark berry fruit, clove and light tobacco scents: a little Morey-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition and a keen line of acidity, fresh and energetic with a peacock’s tail finish. This could well turn out to be Felettig’s best cuvee in 2022.
