The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru was a tad reduced on the nose when I tasted the barrel sample. The palate is well-balanced with an attractive rondeur, slightly lower in acidity than Lignier’s other cuvees. This builds in the mouth and fans out on the finish. My score is based on the palate at the moment.
