The 2022 Macon-Bussieres Vignes de Montbrison comes from a plot that touches Vergisson. Impressive detail and concentration on the nose offer peach and orange pith scents at first. More Golden Delicious aromas mixed with melted wax appear later. The palate is fresh and lively. There’s a pleasing edginess and plenty of weight and girth towards the finish. Pear and grapefruit notes mix with a dab of lemongrass. Excellent.
