The 2023 Tour de Pressac is fabulous, not to mention one of the very finest wines in its peer group. Bright acids cut through a core of dark red/purplish fruit. Lavender, rose petal, spice and blood orange fill out the layers nicely. Brisk acids pull it all together on the close. This mid-weight second wine is an absolute delight.

The 2023 Tour de Pressac has a light bouquet with blackberry and loamy scents, touches of tobacco emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite edgy and just attenuating slightly toward its bitter finish. So-so.
