The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trezin offers a perfumed bouquet with white flower scents filtering through citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced with a spicy opening, lemongrass complementing the citrus and a Meursault-like style towards the "capable" finish. Quite a gutsy Le Trezin, broad-shouldered.

Cask sample. Not utterly frank nose. Somehow rather ‘covered’ with strong citrus notes dominating rather than anything more subtle or savoury. A bit short. (JR)
