The NV Brut Le Reserve (base 2021) is a very pretty, gracious wine. Hints of dried pear, herbs, almond, tangerine peel, dried flowers, mint and tobacco lend tons of nuance throughout. The significant presence of reserve wines adds quite a bit of complexity and character. This harmonious NV Champagne is all charm. This release is based on 2021 but is blended with a 58% reserve wines, on the higher side. What a delight. Dosage is 2.9 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2025. [Antonio Galloni, 31/05/2026]

Vinous 90

(40% pinot meunier, 30% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay; L200352): Light, bright gold. Fresh red berries, orange zest and white flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy and precise, offering energetic redcurrant and blood orange flavors that show good concentration and a supple texture. A mineral nuance adds bite to the finish, with the floral note echoing. Based on the 2015 vintage and disgorged with nine grams per liter dosage, the latest release of Billecart’s NV Brut Reserve contains fully 55% reserve wines and is showing very well, offering up complex aromas of warm bread, crisp green orchard fruit and citrus oil. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied and charming but lively, with an elegantly textural attack, a fleshy core of fruit and lively balancing acids. [William Kelley, 08/08/2019]

Base wine 2018, the blend that will last until September 2023. 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir. 55% reserve wines. 4% barrel vinification. Dosage 6 g/l. Lively lemon nose.
